Thousands of people visit Windcrest each winter specifically to see the incredible lights as well so unlike many suburbs Windcrest really does have something unique going for it. It is a short drive from San Antonio which means it is more than close enough to commute but at the same time most residents are happy to know that they are in fact separated from the city somewhat.
