The Lewisville Tollway allows residents to connect with local lake communities and access unique areas of Lake Lewisville. If you want a greener travel alternative, the DCTA A-Train services areas of Denton County and Carrollton with a station in Lake Dallas. The Trinity Mills station connects with the DART green line that continues on throughout the rest of Dallas. Concerned about the noise factor? Lake Dallas is a quiet zone prohibiting the trains from blowing their horns unless necessary. This allows residents to have the conveniences of a large city without the negative aspects.
Lake Dallas utilizes its convenient location on Lake Lewisville to its full advantage. The city sponsors an annual watercross championship that attracts hundreds of spectators to witness the excitement of the competition.
