The Strand Lofts are apartment homes located in the historic downtown area of Galveston. The area has been designated as a National Historic Landmark District and is composed of mainly Victorian style buildings that house antique stores, restaurants and specialty shops. The neighborhood has been rated as very livable and walkable with most errands successfully completed on foot or bike. The neighborhood is also located in the vicinity of the Galveston Ship Channel.
The building that houses the Strand Lofts was renovated in 1994 and offers one-, two-, and three-bedroom homes for rent. The building has a laundry room, fitness center and storage areas.
