A key factor that many apartment shoppers overlook is management. Large, multi-state property owners may have hundreds of properties on the books, and in many cases are slow to respond to requests for improvements, renovations or needed repairs. An example of local ownership can be found at Centerpoint in Dallas, where the owners take a little more pride in appearance, upkeep and all-around desirability.
Located just off the George Bush Tollway in the Frankford area, this complex is convenient to a range of nearby shopping and dining locales. There are two pools on the premises, as well as a pair of jacuzzis and a fitness and cardio center. Individual units boast private patios or balconies, ceiling fans, mini blinds, computer desks, washer/dryer connections, frost-free refrigerators, and microwaves. Individual tenants can also rent washer/dryers for a reasonable monthly rate. Several units feature marble fireplaces, vaulted ceilings and wet bars.
