The Buffalo Run apartment community is located in Princeton, TX, a small but growing town near the geographic center of Collin County. Princeton is approximately eight miles east of McKinney and roughly the same distance west of Farmersville. Lavon Lake, which is more commonly referred to as Lake Lavon by local residents, is a short drive from the Buffalo Run Apartments; the lake covers more than 21,000 acres and is a popular destination for fishermen pursuing largemouth bass, crappie, blue catfish or white bass.

Floor plans include a one bedroom, one bath plan that offers 400 square feet of space and an 800-square foot two-bedroom, one-bath plan. An online portal allows residents to submit rent payments or request service at their convenience, even if the office is closed.
