Avalon Place is located in the northeastern part of San Antonio near I-10 and the Charles William Anderson Loop/1604. Bamberger and Fox Parks are nearby as well as The University of Texas at San Antonio, the Leon Creek Greenway Park and Six Flags Fiesta Texas. Restaurants, groceries, banks, etc. are all within one mile.

Avalon Place Apartments are less than one mile from campus and are designed with UTSA students in mind. The floor plans are designed perfectly for 1 or more students. The apartments are fully furnished. The living room has a sectional sofa, ottoman/coffee table, entertainment center, wood flooring, 9-foot ceilings and ceiling fans. Each bedroom has a keyed bedroom entry, a queen size bed, stackable dresser, desk and study chair, a walk-in closet and wall-to-wall carpeting. The kitchens have an island with barstools, black appliances, cabinets, microwave, refrigerator, stove, and dishwasher. Each unit also has a washer and dryer. Internet service, cable with HBO, water and sewer are all included with monthly rent.

Community amenities are a swimming pool, hot tub, tanning dome, fitness center, game room, and grilling areas.

A computer lab and study rooms are available 24 hours a day.
